LYNDA STRINGER

Lynda is a veteran radio announcer and writer. She returned to Christian radio in October 2019, joining the staff at Encouragement Media Group in Tyler, Texas as the Evening Host at 89.5 KVNE, Afternoon Host at Lift 91.3 and APD and Morning Host for 95.3/94.3 The Well, EMG's new teaching/talk station launching in March 2020. Her radio and writing background also includes KCBI Dallas/Fort Worth, KMOC, Wichita Falls, Texas and newspapers in Dallas, Wichita Falls, Mount Pleasant and Pittsburg, Texas. At KCBI, she spent time as both the Midday host, news anchor/reporter and poured her passion for Christian music into writing and producing a weekly Christian entertainment report. Stringer Media, her freelance writing business, launched in 2013 and she founded Christian Insider in 2014, a show prep resource for Christian broadcasters. She is married with three adult children and lives in Northeast Texas.

One of my life verses is Romans 1:16. "For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes..." As a believer, I am committed to never compromising my beliefs and as Christian radio professionals, we have been entrusted with broadcasting the message of Christ and being encouragers to those who need its living water.
